The cutest stop at Kuang Si waterfall!

Visit the rescued moon bears, right at the entrance to the waterfall. Watch them play, forage for snacks and stretch out for cosy midday naps in their forest home.
Free The Bears have 5 sanctuaries across Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia, with bears rescued from bear bile farms and the illegal wildlife trade. We welcome all visitors to experience our world, one where bears are valued as an integral part of the natural environment, and are no longer exploited or abused.
Our sanctuary located at Tat Kuang Si waterfall, is open to everyone. Our Luang Prabang Wildlife Sanctuary (LPWS), located at Ban Nong Tok, is private.
